VP Finish’s Aluminum Conversion Coating is a general engineering coating that provides great corrosion resistance with superior paint adhesion characteristics. It is an immersion process that deposits a translucent clear, slightly bluish, trivalent chrome based coating on aluminum substrates. When applied as a thicker layer, it impedes electrical conductivity for applications where electrical contact resistance is required.
