VP Finish’s Copper Plating is typically used in various industries as a heat treat stop off for selective masking during case hardening. It is also extensively used as an underlayment for other types of our plating (tin, nickel, cadmium and decorative chrome) to improve adhesion, conductivity and corrosion resistance. Our non-cyanide Copper Plating is an electrolytic process that deposits a fine grain layer of copper on many metal substrates.
